As you already know, The Lorax it's a children's book written by Dr. Seuss and it was sucessfully published in 1971. The book, of course is commonly recognized as a fable.
Using the same name, Illumination Entertaintment and Universal Pictures made its movies. Just like most of the Dr. Seuss works, the creatures that mentioned in this movies are original to the book.
The stories revolves around a 12 year old boy, Ted who searches for one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams, Audrey.
Audrey say that she wants to see a real tree. So, he try to find it. In his journey, Ted met with Once-ler.
Once-ler tells a story to the boy that long time a go a young businessman came to the city and introduce a revolutionary invention from the native Truffula Tree's tufts to the citizens. But, because of the mass overproduction of the invention that need a lot of Trufulla Tree's, it causing the depletion of the forest in the town and causing the city don't have a trees anymore.
As he try to make his town to remind of the importance of the nature, he finds himself hounded by the wealthy mayor of the city who has no intention of leaving any traces of the forest as well as the Lorax's world.
This movies will play worlwide in March 2, and you can enjoy it in 3D and I-MAX.
